Hotelchamp has been awarded best Dutch startup of 2018. In a fully packed Atlas Theater in Emmen, Hotelchamp won the Young Business Award on June 7.
The Young Business Award
The Young Business Award is the largest startup competition in the Netherlands. After preliminaries in Groningen and Leeuwarden, Hotelchamp reached the final, where the four finalists Somnox, We4Sea, InvoiceFinance and Hotelchamp all gave their final elevator pitch. Broadcast live on national television, the night ultimately saw Hotelchamp walk away with the grand prize and crowned best young business in the Netherlands.
The fifth edition of the Young Business Award (YBA) competition included 324 participating companies, all who had to have been established within the past five years. The four finalists were selected during two semifinals – YBA Groningen (March 27, 2018) and YBA Friesland (April 17, 2018). In total, the Young Business Award 2018 events were attended by almost 1,400 visitors.
